All carbs installed. Hope to build better stand tomorrow and get it mounted.

OK the carbs are installed, and I got it running. It needs to have the idle fast to keep running. I couldn’t find a deep enough tub, especially with everything shut down, so I put the muffs on it, and used a tub that comes about an inch short Of the top of the gear housing. So it’s got a combination of muffs And a shallow tub.

I have a good stream from the water pump but I’m wondering if water should also be coming out of those two black ports on either side of the outlet.

It did not get hot, but then again I didn’t run it very long.

Don't hear a knock -- all sounds normal. Get a plastic trash can for testing (30 gal? large).

Another guy who looked at the video on YouTube said it was knocking. Beats me!

I went full hillbilly and got another 3 inches in water depth with some boards, clamps and a tarp.

ugly ugly, but it let me see it run well enough to know the motor is worth keeping and re-mounting on my aqua sport 222 after I fix the transom thanks for all your help guys..

Done a number of transom replacements. Check the hull repair section here for excellent info.
