Re: Ok, how do I do this?
Not yet. work has hit me so I gotta take it when I can. BUT I am about ready to pull it off.
I have NO problems with any suggestions given here. That's why I asked. I also understand sometimes things loose something in translation. so I always take things with a grain of sand. Like i said it's a small hole a patch is going to be good ffor now.
Yes the engine is out. I thought about flipping it. BUT I don't have anything good to rig it from. just my engine hoist... BUT it might be possible.
If I do think about flipping it. windsheild ? Take it off? everything else seems self explanatory.. like the gas tank (easy to pull)
The good thing about flipping it.. I could paint the underside nice and purdy.. I looked into gelcoat today. two paint shops did not carry it (am I looking in the wrong place) I went to our boat dealer. their parts guy was WEIRD.. he wanted to know what it was for, what color etc etc etc etc before he said. "I don't keep any in stock, and its about $80 a quart plus hardener..." he could order it.. but that just seemed WAY off line for price.
I have never played with Gelcoat. is this out there? Can anyone point me to a place online to order some.. CHEAP LOL
Did you get her off the trailer....Wizzard?
