Wow...I checked it out. His name that is. Going...going gone. Out of my league to comprehend the relations.
This is KC signing off. A little to cryptic for me.
Good guess Sam.

The 225 Optimax was for another project that didn't get done.
About 7 years ago I had a different 21 Bayliner. Same model as I have and use now.
I removed the twin 85's and put on a 225 Mercury EFI

The 14ft I'm working on now is gonna keep the 50 that's on there.
I thought I had more/better pics of the other job?? Guess I can't find them???

The floor of the boat where the old rotten wood is.
They put the battery box under the center. and ran a PVC tube to the back.

I cut it all down and found a bit more rot in the stringers :(

Not sure I want to go through all the work to fix them??

I used Git Rot on a boat that the motor mounts were rotted out.
Anyone use GR ??

These are after cutting down the bad glass and getting the rotten wood out.

Pic 1 shows a bit of the transom.
There is a piece(next to the shifter) that connected the transom to the rotten cross piece in the floor.
It's encapsulated rotten 3/8 plywood.
It butts up on the transom.
My first thought was the rot went all the way through and the transom was bad where the rotten wood was touching the transom.
Even though I tested the transom.
NOT!!! the transom is solid all the way through!!!

Mathew caused a bunch of damage here .
My place was saved and lots of branches and trash thrown around.
Next time I probably won't be so lucky.
