Re: So What's Everyone's Winter Projects???
Not making me sick at all. I like winter as much as I like summer. Right now I am hoping for a lot of snowfall this winter for snowmobiling, skiing (x-c and downhill), cold weather camping, ice-fishing, building snow forts with the kids, snowball fights, sledding, ice skating, hockey, etc. Bring on the snow and cold. I'm ready.
edit: As for the boat, I got everything done on it i wanted to this summer, so change lower unit oil, sea-foam the gas, and fog the engine is all I got planned. Still got a little more fishing to do before that though.
I'm going to make you northerners sick. For the winter we fish, camp, hike some canyons and washes, climb some mountains and volcanos, all of which are accessible only from the lake, go fossil hunting, and now that the lake is down, explore some previously sunken structures. Some say that the winter is no time to be on Lake Mead, but that only applies if you do nothing but water sports. We find plenty to do year round, and at 65 I'm just getting started.
