Yeah what's wrong with that garage? Cars parked in there in the way? They can be parked in the drive since they already have covers

really sucks though! i dont think anyone was prepared for this! i heard snow on the forecast and said ya whatever since i was sweating like a pig
working on my trailer yesterday, so now its sitting under all the snow.
but atleast my boat is under cover sorry had too say it

ya well i had no idea we were going to actually get this. they were calling for 6-12 in the adirondack mountains and green mountains, but not here. and they are NEVER right. so when they said a few inches, i said ya right we will get a dusting, thats it. BOY WAS I WRONG! and i cant cover it now... and i cant move it due to the fact that its not on the trailer! besides, it wasnt snowing or anything when i left for work, and that pic was right when i got home at 230.

well i am in some deep crap right now... 15 freakin inches of snow on my damn boat! and the pisser is that its supposed to be 81 on saturday!

Oh man does that suck.. My old man live in upstate NY, and he mentioned it snowed. I chalked it up to him being a bit crazy, but your picture confirms it.

your not alone..... i ended up with about a foot or so.
just after 7 am.

most of its gone already. im only 8 miles from plattsburgh and theres nothing there either. yet 1 mile north of me got roughly 4 inches more than me. its very weird!

most of its gone already. im only 8 miles from plattsburgh and theres nothing there either. yet 1 mile north of me got roughly 4 inches more than me. its very weird!

ya this storm was a real wierd one. chateaugay got well over 15 inches. about 10 in malone, and fort covington got nothing! dennemora got over a foot, nothing in peru. very strange.


btw i sent you a pm... want to check out that trailer you have.

well i picked up some new keel rollers over the weekend, and scored a sweet deal on a boarding ladder... gander mountain had a bunch on clearence so i picked one up... its only a 3 step, i wanted a 4 but for the price... it was orig 109, got it for 26 bucks!!! its stainless and is the collapsable type!


a few more days and i will be done with firewood... and ready to get her all ready for the summer. yesterday would have been nice to go out there after stacking wood all day.

oh god no, i dont have ANY upper body strength. i borrow it from a buddy, hes dropping it off this afternoon for a few days. got some more already split that i need to stack today, then a few days of splitting and stacking.


my inlaws however used to split the same amount by hand... the 2 boys would take turns hacking at it all summer until about 4 years ago.

well the remainder of the firewood is somewhat on hold... waiting for my buddy to get me his splitter... so work has commenced on the boat. worked on the trailer some last night, painting it. its not a show piece by any means, just want it to look better than it does now. used rustoleum and rolled/brushed it on. it looks okay, definatly a 20 footer. need to do a second coat on the fenders tonight. also rebuilt the winch with some parts off the cheap one that i put on it last summer that broke after a month. replaced the old nasty cable with a strap and took off the crank and cut it down, as it was too long and hit on things if it wasnt REALLY loose. tonight its time for the 2nd coat on the fenders, weld the new safety chains on and replace a few rollers, then probably tomorrow get the boat back on the trailer.

i decided im going to get everything ready for this year before tinkering with the 85 horse. i need to replace my impeller and get that gas tank mounted and plumbed.
