Re: TV's prices
Really doubt that you will find a new digital TV for less, Zach.
I just bought a Polaroid 20" HDTV (1080i) for my office at Wally World for $259 and am very happy with it.
You might find better prices after Xmas, or you might just go to a hock shop and pick up an analog TV for under $50, then add a $40 adapter for digital.
Bought that same TV for my camper JB...I gave over 300 for it when i bought it..price has come down some on the HD sets.
There are deals out there you just got to look for them.
The rear projection LCD HD tvs are old technology and can be had at less than half of what they were a year ago.Although they are rear projection they are only about 18 inches deep and have a great picture.
We bought one for the bedroom a few months ago.It was originally 1999 and we got it at close out for 899. 46 in Sony.Picture is beautiful with the HD off air signal..
The Plasma tvs are now considered old technology (high power use and heavy) and i have seen some good deals on those.
Myself i would stick with LCD.
Even 1080 resolution is getting old.
I was reading on C-net or one of the websites that they have perfected a 2040 resolution and some even higher.
Its like computers...6 months old and its out dated..
