All, my kids have an Xbox 360 slim about 11 months old. For some reason it keeps destroying one particular game and I have to keep replacing it. The game is COD Black Ops and literally the last one I had to replace lasted for a couple weeks and the console said the disc was unreadable. The game never got touched by human hands except mine, had no scratches at all and looked perfect. It only was played a few times and the center plastic piece that I realize can crack from the heat was still like new. I may be crazy but of all the kids' games, the COD Black Ops game seems to be made of thinner material than the rest of the games. In any event, I replaced the game again last night and thought it made sense to figure out how to make a copy, use it and keep the original in the media safe. You can copy the game onto the hard drive but even though I do that, when the game becomes 'unreadable' the Xbox won't even initiate the game from the hard drive as you still need the game disc to get it to initiate. I'm getting very frustrated by what I see as a clear product related issue.
Does anybody know of a free or trial game software out there that will work for this?
Thanks
