Always fun to get through that part. Now you have a blank canvas to make your own.
You decide on how you are going to finish the interior before wood or just leave it bare as is?

I know how the riveting goes... Its a long and slow process when done right. As time went on we got a lot better, but still.... Not something I am entirely sure I want to do again.
To clean out corrosion that was easy to get to I used a wire wheel on a angle grinder. For the tight areas, I...
Relooking at the pictures, it almost looks like the "tray" the battery and leaves are in might be the source for the Leaf-Tea Sludge. Almost looks like they drilled a drain hole for it. So guessing the Transom is shot....
The knee brace also looks really high. @TheHickoryStick, how is the...
Looking good. You have really been moving along. See you are riveting the deck down. You using 5200 to seal the holes?
Love the Shark Nautolex. I have really enjoyed it on our boat.
Side note, glassers make perfect donors

Even though the splashwell was removed, I almost prefer it to be from what I see. With as small as the boat is, don't know if a splashwell is the best use of space. Will be fun to watch the restore.
Oh, @TheHickoryStick, welcome aboard!!!!

I guess I was a little over zealous with my use of 5200.
Mindset of "could it fail"??? "Maybe in a 1000 years... Ok 5200 the crap out of it and it will last 1001 years"!!!!
:D

Very pretty!!!! Nothing like a shiny piece of aluminum.
The bracket you showed, is that screwed in or through bottled? If just screwed, I would suggest through bolt with plenty of 5200.
Just my 2 cents....

Howdy Starmada,
2020 has been a very interesting year.... Hope every one is well and still above water (Sorry boat joke).
That said, it is the time of year we get to acknowledge all the handwork that has been put in by the members. Please see below on this years SOTY 2020 rules and...
Oh fun!!! Looks like a SS16. Fun little boat when you are all said and done.
Flooring: Never thought about doing a removable floor. So much is secured on top of it that removing it to run some wires would be a lot more effort then it would be worth in my opinion. Plus that is what the...
While not the same build, my gunnels really stiffened up when I installed the splashwell. So for you, I am wondering if the frame you talked about making for the dog house and such will help with that as well.
