    StarCraft kingfisher rebuild

So, what are your layout plans for your KF? The boat is pretty small once seats and console are installed. There's very little storage space in my layout. I only have the two underseat lockers and honestly, they're not enough. And with the seating layout I chose, there really isn't enough...

    Humility

Ha ha ha ha! :ROFLMAO: Well, this thread is supposed to be about being humble... but I'll relate one little story. 😏 I was stationed in a "host country" and by regulation we were supposed to travel in uniform while going to and from the host country. Except for "us" guys. :p After a...

I wish that I could share some of the "exciting" stories... but those happened while I was in the USAF and are still classified even now. 🤪 Bwaaahaahaa! :ROFLMAO: Yeah, I hate when I miss seeing the launches. I hope to take my family over to the Cape and catch one close up in the not too...

New here and questions Starcraft SS 16

Just like SHSU and others have said, it'll probably require more than you might think, take a lot longer and cost a lot more. That's just the way of it. When I bought our Kingfisher (link below), it wasn't running and had a number of leaks. I sold the antique motor and several other items...

Just thought I'd share a nice photo.

I remember when I lived in Spokane, WA that the leaves would start changing in August like that.

I have returned... with a Starcraft this time!

That's what I suspect. I didn't buy the gas at our local Wawa, which does a tremendous amount of business with subsequent constant product refresh. I always get the ethanol free gas there. But on that purchase, we were 50 miles from home and I bought the gas at the nearest station, which not...

I have returned... with a Starcraft this time!

I think I've found the problem. Bad fuel. It was 48 days from time of gas purchase until it was used and failed. :cautious: I have both carbs apart for rebuild and yesterday, with the lower carb, there was water in the float bowl and the fuel smelled like Varsol. 😖 We're currently awaiting...

Yup, that's where the first image (on the left) in the pic above came from. I was a NASA Space Systems engineer for 20+ years. A friend of mine was a manager on the Hubble Project. I also worked in DoD and commercial programs and flew satellites while in the USAF. I never tire of space...
