    Keel Repair

Looking at your rollers - it's time to replace. I doubt the roller itself did the damage BUT if its split enough, the roller shaft might of contributed to that. Given the small amount of damage and where it is, I'd look at a gelcoat repair kit and get close to matching it - doesn't need to be...

    Volvo Penta 4.3

IF this is EFI....do you happen to hear a cyclic tone? Starts low, gets high, disappears, repeats? Cause if you do....may be your electric fuel pump. That's what mine did when it bit the dust. And it twernt cheap to replace - have a seat when the marina calls you with a quote. Mine was $1k...

    Sprint bow panel

Timer for livewell? Battery gauge for the trolling motor?

Bayliner Bowrider 175 (2004), no power to anything other than Trim

To me, not being there to trace cables, it looks like you have more heavy duty connections to the negative post than the positive post. Again, to me, IF all those negative wires were pulling that kind of Amperage, you'd quickly fry that lone positive heavy gauge wire. Something's off and I bet...

What kind of boat is most likely to be equipped with a 3HP electric motor?

I would talk to your insurance writer on what documentation they are going to require.

What kind of boat is most likely to be equipped with a 3HP electric motor?

I think 3HP is undersized - depending on batteries and number of people on board you could/will be lapped by someone operating a paddle boat. Batteries to give you any amount of run time are going to drastically reduce your carrying capacity. Then you have to arrange for charging - either...

Boat shut off and can’t get it started

Safety lanyard would be the first thing that comes to mind. Second would be fuel pump.

    Tube with 25hp on a 14' tinny

Umm...a 25HP on a 14' tinny is gonna fly. It'll pull the tube. Use a bridle to attach the line from the tube to the boat. Now....how much swinging that tube around is going to move the boat is anyone's guess. That there might be the determining factor.

Fix chipped paint or do a wrap?

Umm....any chance you could give it back? Cause that hit dock pilings hard and repeatedly from the looks of things. To do that kind of damage I wager you've got structural issues.

    1989 Renken 2000 I think I'm in trouble

From the inside of your boat, as far down as you can get, sample your transom. You tell me....wet, non-existent, or dry?

    1989 Renken 2000 I think I'm in trouble

It's not a house where you simply deck over the bad stuff. You're cutting out the floor, the stringers, the transom, grinding it all down to good solid glass, reinstalling the transom, reinstalling the stringers, glassing over the both, installing the floor, glassing that in (whole...

    Purchasing in this market

I looked into one of those boat clubs once. Laughed when they couldn't answer me what availability they had on other lakes I frequent - I have (2) Great Lakes and all the Finger Lakes readily available. I'd echo waiting as at some point there's going to be a market correction. FWIW...my...

boat and trailer sit very low (to my eye)

Bunks I assume? If so...toss another 2x4 or whatever between your brackets and current bunks. It'll raise you up some. Better yet, if your brackets are adjustable...raise em. Simple fix without having to flip axles, buy rims/tires, etc...

    What kind of boat...

Looks like a standard bass boat. Probably 18' in length or so. Many, many manufacturers make them (or have made them throughout the years). Ranger, Skeeter, Bayliner, etc.

    Back after a LONG hiatus....

4.3L V6 conversion?? Since you're going to be tearing it down to the bare hull anyways.

Pontoon scissor trailer - locking pin doesn't align when top rack cranked up

It's binding somewhere. Next place I'd check are all the pivot points and how the cable is spooling on the winch.

Lot more new boaters and large wakes?

Ya gotta remember...to Johnny - Vanilla Ice, Nelly, and Snoop Dogg are the classics :) :)

Pontoon scissor trailer - locking pin doesn't align when top rack cranked up

I'm thinking there's something in that pocket that locks the frame to the trailer. I'd lower the frame and see if there's anything in there. Weirder things have happened....wife's 4Runner had a black walnut resting on the engine block - darn squirrels.

Lot more new boaters and large wakes?

That's because Johnny graduated college, albeit he's now mostly deaf due to his system in his car, and with his new found income has purchased a pontoon boat to serenade the locals with his tunes. Threw a "system" in his toon to play the tunes :)
