Bone headed move - put the plug in with 3M 4200

FWIW: Triple Guard grease (#508297) is now (was?) an aluminum and barium complex grease. Note: Triple Guard packaging states - Not suitable for use in wheeling bearings or universal joints. Interesting given that barium is typically used to support EP operation. Various SDS and MDS...

Bone headed move - put the plug in with 3M 4200

Good to know..... When did that happen? The batch of refill cartridges I ordered back in March was blue. I guess next order will be Bel-Ray Blue, noted on Triple Guard data sheet

Bone headed move - put the plug in with 3M 4200

Bronze doesn’t corrode, even in saltwater. Grease is used as a lubricate to help prevent galling of the threads

Suzuki DF140 fuel injector issue code 4-3

4-3 is a fuel injector failure. Since you swapped the injector with no resolution, the next place at the feedback that triggers the firing of the injector. Typically some kind of crank and or cam position sensor for this feedback

Bone headed move - put the plug in with 3M 4200

Have you tried to get it out? The tensile strength of 4200 is low and it doesn’t hold very well on metal (bronze) unless clean and primed.

    AutoPilot Options

Problems at speed for trolling? Assuming you have position feedback sensor? If not, it's never going to work worth a darn Cable steer is not the best for slow speed operation. Much different interface today than used 20 years ago. You would be better off a start over with modern equipment...

    Is my trailer too short?

As long as your tongue weight is within spec. I wouldn't worry about it. My boat bunks (4" x 6") and boat overhang the back of the trailer by ~20".

1990 Dual Force 120s one side showing 16.7v at speed with dual batteries

Voltage regulators are simple generic circuits. Schematic is studied in electronics 101 VR dissipate excess voltage as heat. The issue is getting a unit large enough to dissipate the output as “heat” w/o melting. The 35 amp charging system on my 200 hp uses a water cooled regulator. You...

Problem Replacing old incandescent NAV lights with LED lights

Has nothing to do with the "post". The problem you have is that LED operate at roughly 3-3.5 volts DC and your supplying them with with 12 volts. You can either reduce the voltage with resistors. power them in parallel, or power them through a dedicated, low voltage power source. Should just...
