    It was bubbling up between the manifold and head that’s why we tightened the manifold bolts past torque specs. Which I looked up is 25lb. Which I think is low. But that’s what it said.

    We had this foamy stuff come out between the exhaust intake manifold and head. We tightened the bolts. Even though they were torqued down with a torque wrench. I don’t remember what the spec was. The foaming stopped. I didn’t get the picture until we got back to the dock. What would this be...

    The shunt is connected at all times. Because you need the black wire connected to the interruptor switch for safety. But the white jumper wires are not connected

    One more question. Does the engine have to be running when switching the wires around. Or do you have to switch the wires before you start it.

    I bought an ignition module from a boat parts and repair place here in town. I wired it exactly like the picture says and it doesn’t go into base mode. What do I do now. By the way it’s a freshly rebuilt engine so I want to get it right

    Trim not going up with switch on shifter

    the wiring in the shifter lever for the button that makes it go up could be broken off the connector. that's what was wrong with mine last year.
