    Transducer

Then 12* is what he needs , no way did they make that dead rise close to 20* more like 10* the more I think about it .

    Transducer

Asking for dead rise degrees , not frequency for his MFD .

    Transducer

You can use your cell ( might need a app to get that feature ) to measure your dead rise , I would guess your in the 12* - 15:* range . Bigger older boats usually never got close to the somewhat standard 19 * Doesn't Airmar only offer 2 models for different dead rises ?

    2022 Lund Adventure 1775 Sport

Have a 2012 Rebel Xl 17 ' , no complaints, not the main boat so it- I has limited time on it . One thing many people overlook when pricing out boats is re- sale value . Yes you pay more for a top tier boat and you get a higher percentage of your money back when selling it . Maybe Google it

1995 Renken threaded hole in bow of boat

Wherever it leads to can be found by looking in the bow area that.will at least drain hole of some sort that leads to that thru Hull fitting. That thru Hull fitting needs to be replaced and bedded properly . All I see is water intrusion 101 .

Wellcraft or Robalo or Black Fin or BW for CC?

You will pay more for a Whaler , and it will be worth more if you trade it in or sell it in a few years when you go bigger. Most people don't figure that in when shopping for a new boat .

    Moving 3rd toon back

You cannot compare motors as the boats are not the same. As mentioned the third toon is adding considerable drag and what was the weight difference. Was the Mercury a 2 stroke that weighs a lot less than a 4 stroke. Yes the lifting strakes are designed to lift the toons up s bit , less drag . Do...

Proper way to place engine compartment/bilge fans?

Fumes are heavier than air and drop to the lowest point in the bilge . That's where your discharge hoses should be , under the engine or facing the oil pan. The inlet fresh air hoses do not need nor should they have blowers attached to them . They can terminate at a higher level but don't have...

    prop depth on mini pontoon

Your hull is basically a displacement style and will not go any faster with a 30 hp or 6 . So you giving it more throttle is not going to give you more speed . In theory of you take a line and run it from one toon to the other on the very bottom of them ,that is where your cavitation plate...

What sort of device can I use with these connectors?

Take pictures of your connectors , including make and model of transducer. There should be a waterproof tag on that cable with make and model . Now go to your local places that sell electronics and see what matches up .They do change over the years and adaptor cables are usually available or a...

will not engage forward with engine running on baffles

As mentioned, you probably did not line up the shift boot with the channel it goes in . Control should be in the forward position and the bronze boot should be facing straight forward. You can see it going on properly with a flashlight and lying on the ground. The lowered unit can be tightened up...

blower CFM needed for proper ventilation

I always turn my blower on before I start fueling . My theory is if there is any sort of electrical issue with the blower that might cause a spark , the spark would happen when you turn on the blower , not while it's running . Not sure if I am correct but I feel better doing it that way.

blower CFM needed for proper ventilation

Air comes in through the bow facing vent and stern facing is for air out . Exhaust hose should be as close to the lowest point near engine that it will fit . Vapor fumes are heavier than air and will settle at the lowest point possible. After fueling up with a small doghouse, open it up aftering...
