    I agree, when motor was running faster it was not full bore. Was the throttle handle all the way up?

    If the alarms test ok I'm thinking the diode in the harness went bad. Others will come that will know more but limp mode seems to be coming on. The oil tank has to match the tach so other issues can happen. Post model number.

    Running that motor on carb cleaner all day is not advisable. 50/1 in a spray bottle won't damage the engine. Do what the journeyman experts say on here and post compression numbers. Vro deleted or still using it?

    Tims correct, before it can go down it has to come up.... If that's not working then it's jammed up. No book is going to help. You could try loosening the two nuts on the tilt tube and see if that helps.

    Shook the bulb? Stuck ball? Not sure what you mean but yes your float needle had junk. If replace your fuel lines and clean your tank. Those things only happen for a reason.

    Corrosion on a wire or terminal is deductive reasoning. Time to get the meter out. Pull all the corresponding plugs apart and observe/clean pins.....could be up in a wire.

    Everyone has everything for that motor that you don't need. No one except for some kind of barn find, will have the part you need. You'll end up having to buy the whole engine and possibly the boat. Sad really. Hopefully, Crosby will have some kind of work around for you.

    Low on fluid, or air in the system. Untighten the relief screw and cycle it.

    Your crap fuel pump went bad and now your not using OMC/brp power packs? I think your answering your own question. I hope your studying the proper procedures to install all that.

    Plastic parts anywhere on the carb and any imperfect procedure installing them can wreck havoc. Not the finest piece of engineering.
