    Kill switch question

    You can mount the kill switch on your dash if you want but you will have to wire it into the box. Post Pic of control box, if it's a white or black box with a red plug on the end of the harness it should have a spot for a man overboard switch.

    Probably the vst or something but best to go to the E-tec web site and read their posts or make one ... Google barnacle bills E-tec and it will show up. I wouldn't run this motor until it's fixed

    If everything tests ok then it has to be something is grounding. Follow wires and check for shorts....or it could be grounding in the control box. This assumes no vro

    Tim, Pretty sure no manual primer on that model. I have one and it's a choke. I'm guessing weak spark, still something in carb/float or plastic carb parts.

    I'll give you some pictures of mine in a few right after I finish my steam bath. Throttle handle is easy to take apart just don't loose any parts.

    Did you pump the primer bulb on the gas line when it fell off it's face? If not try that, that would indicate a bad fuel pump.
