I don’t think you would have any problem selling it if that’s what you wanted to do.
Especially if your in any sort of a lake region.
It’s nice to see one like that. There usually laying in a pile of brush infested with critters.

If you have leaking gas why not fix that problem first. Of course you will still need to run it to see if it’s fixed but if you have plenty of fresh air flow and your in a confined closed up space you should ok.

If it’s a high hour motor it really needs to be inspected before anything is done.
The ring free can work in some cases but in my eyes you have a 50/50 chance of it helping a bit or helping to much. I have seen these snake oils free up so much carbon that things...
I remember seeing the news many many years ago when oil still came in cans. A garage in Alaska open a can of oil turned it upside down and nothing came out. Chilly!

I have seen rods punch through a block more than once from high rpm’s with no load.
Picture your self running down hill at 60 mph.
You can’t keep it together😂
Agreed!
It’s good to hear there are still some young folks willing to learn. There is no better way to learn than to dive in and do the work. It’s more fun than sitting on the couch playing video games.
Enjoy the time and soak up the knowledge.
