    Check your ground(s) wires, if it worked on the bench; it should work on the motor. I think you have a bad or no ground to the valve and/or the engine

    Bench-test this theory, have the bowl filled with fuel & pressurize the fuel system to see if it jetting out inside the throat of the carb You will have to remove the (and/or) float-needle to do perform this test

    Can I plug the trim lines on a T/T unit and still use the tilt

    Have you tried to switch the wires around? the (down) green wire to the relay that controls the up, to see if it would come down? When holding the the switch in the down position do you have power at the down relay?

    Have you tried to; give it fuel from a jug/other fuel-tank? (to eliminate blocked pick-up tube)
