    yes the Trigger-wires from #3 to input #4 CDI AND the wires coming out of the CDI that would fire #4 to coil#3

    Yes, use the lead that works and/or the one that normally would hook to Coil#4 (if applicable)

    Your confusing Trigger voltage & Stator voltage; The AC voltage output from the trigger-wires is very low (DVA-5 Volts or more) The AC voltage output from the stator should be approximately DVA 180 volts Remember; a DVA meter is a must to diagnose properly !! Also; a good battery & starter

    "all coils fire when hooked up to the good lead out of the number one cdi i just dont get how the issue is the same in both cdi actually one has no spark on 1,3 the othe has a faint on 1 and 3" The above writing does not make any sense to me ?? ( I guess because I'm Canadian) Anyways...

    jerryjerry05 once told me; a "Ohm tested good" stator can still be bad & a DVA meter is a must. I found out this out the hard way

    So i decided to pull the powerhead off....

    RE-CHECK your wiring hook-up & connectors, also make sure the mounting-bracket has good ground-wire(s) Pay special attention to the connectors on the trigger-wires

    Those late 80:es and early 90:es LU had different solution of seals for the shift shaft. The one with a rubber bellow for the shift shaft was a bad design and the bellow fail after a while. Check if its made out of metal or plastic (metal=old style) Plastic = you're ok & get the replacement...
