    Yamaha 130 power trim relay

There are only so many relay manufacturers in the world, Yamaha isn’t one of them. A relay is a relay….as long as the voltage and current ratings are the same, or better. Unsure….buy two aftermarket, keep one as a backup until proven

    good morning :)

Only slightly? As a long time horse (x5) and boat owner, I can vouch there is no comparison between the two……lol Used as justification for my high end fishing tackle fetish with Mrs. Dingbat.

    1976 Starcraft Mariner 21' Layout Changes? (v2)

If the intent is to provide more floor space for fishing while maintaining 360 access to the gunnel, I'd get rid of the casting platforms. Leave the console in the center, but move it (console) back towards the stern a foot or so

    good morning :)

Couple of reasons.... 1. I buy fuel each and every outing. Navigating a busy filling station with 42 ft. long truck/trailer combo is a pain. 2. My boat has a 154 gallon fuel capacity. Grief from Mrs. Dingbat about fishing expenses

    Loctite 081 grade D substitute…

Loctite 081 orange threadlocker - tensile strength of 240 psi and a 72 hr cure time. There are a number of products with the proper strength, but most are 24 hour cure. I can only assume they spec’d 72 hours to allow adequate time for assembly

85 hp yamaha 2 stroke not cranking when cold out side.

Octane raises the ignition temperature (lowers volatility) of gasoline. Makes it harder to start when cold Running premium fuel in a low compression (2 stroke) motor is a waste of money. What purpose does non-ethanol fuel serve in this situation? If condensation in the fuel is an issue, E10...

2004 Angler 204 FX Gas Tank Replacement

Hopefully Angler upped their game considerably from when I looked at them in 2000 they were a bit “thin skinned”. They where attractively priced but had a hull weight #500 lighter than their competitor, and it showed

    Help for prop replacement

Running a prop calculator on your reported performance results in 23% slip. Should be running 1/2 that figure, but would drop your WOT RPM even lower. Possible scenarios: Tachometer is wrong - has it been checked? Motor not setup properly - A common problem with conversions Damaged or under...

Say goodbye to Glastron as you know it

Warranty claims (Reserve) are typically in the 1- 4% range of COGS. The big savings of going direct is the Marketing, Sales and Distribution costs. Contract and liability requirements are much different in business to business verse retail transactions as well.

Neighbor has the same boat. He replaced the Merc 90, 2 stroke it came with for a Yammie F150. Long story…. Boat pulled heavy to right after repower. Tried everything. Asked that I come down to his marina to take a look. Dealer hung 25” motor. Took a lawyer to get proper shaft length motor...

    Random

You need the frame size and HP of the existing to source a new motor. Both should be found somewhere on the frame unless Chinese made, then all bets are off. Marking parts isn’t a priority ;)
