    Check the steering is full of oil and not air. Check engine height too. If the engine is too low, it can be hard to over come the effect of prop torque steer, with anything but the best of steering systems like a sea star

    3 options. 5.0, 5.7 or 6.2 block and change over ancillary items. Issue then is the ecu. I think the 5.0 may have a different ecu and mapping from the other two. Not certain though.

    3 blade SST vrs High five

    The high 5 is doing that because it’s very inefficient at the top end with lots of slip. They usually act like less pitch with the rpms. Only good at one thing. Getting someone pulled out the water with a boat that might usually not have the power to do it...without lots less pitch.

    I believe a black max ally is better than some stainless props. Yamaha k series props I think are also better than some of them too. Props like a vengeance for example...I think are utterly useless for anything other than being shiny

    Mercruiser 4,3 MPI from 2008, intermittent alarm after 3500 rpm??

    Running cold will cause the oil to remain viscous. Can also damage your engine too. When up to temp and around those rpm. You should likely be around 40-45 psi, I’d think. Should think about getting that thermostat in ASAP.

    I think now we know it’s overheated before...I’d be looking to see if there are bits of exhaust flappers stuck down the exhaust and restricting flow.

    Not sure there would be an alarm for high oil pressure. But that pressure recorded is ridiculously high. What’s the temperature reading at ? If it’s running cold with a full open thermostat, it could be that high perhaps.

    Sounds like the battery to me. Said it loads previously. Very often these will turn over healthy...but will take the power away from the system enough for the thing not to fire up.

    Iac can cause this. Think it’s a couple of beeps every so often. But need it plugged in really.

    You’re surely on the rpm limiter there. Defo need more pitch. But you won’t know how much, until you’re off the limiter.

    Chris. Love this. Am I reading that right to think you are getting 40 knots with the bottom graph ? Probably not reading it right to think you’re getting 1.5 miles per litre at full throttle though, am I ?
