    Depending on the stainless 3 blade in question...normally as far as I’ve seen...the same pitch 4 blade ally will run more rpm and certainly less speed. Most recently on a 19ft regal with a 4.3 mpi. It had a 21” 4 blade spitfire ally. It ran to the limiter at 4950 rpm at about 47 mph from memory...

    Hi Scott. What made you align the engine ? Was this as a result of some intrusive work previously? Had the noise only been since aligning ? Or have you checked alignment because of the noise ? How did you check and determine alignment was adrift ? And just to get me thinking right...is the noise...

    As said. Defo the norm and much easier to remove the whole drive together. But that probably isn’t helping you any now and afterwards. Wouldn’t normally suggest such a thing...but YouTube might give you a basic idea of such a thing...can’t believe I’ve said this...but probably not a bad idea...

Serious fuel cost and certainly only a fraction of the life span on the engine. There are GM V6/v8 engines still in boats from the 70’s going strong. No way a 8000rpm 3 cylinder...

    Sounds like the ignition sensor (what we call it here) normally, but if you have that spider cap diz like the gxi and MPi...probably not be the issue. so are you getting literally no Volts at all or is there a little voltage ? I know the gxi and mpi won’t fire if the battery is anything less...
