    I had the same issue a couple of years back. Had a new helm and cable in my shopping cart. Went out to double check my measurements before I pushed the button. Found the nut where the cable attached to the helm was maybe a quarter to half a turn loose. Problem solved

    Brake woes

    Most of that has to do with development and use of AHSS/UHSS steels that can be 2-3 times stronger than early materials. Steel now only needs to be 0.05” thick to provide the same strength as a 1/8” sheet.
