    Probably not....... Alternator needs X rpm to generate the necessary current. If it starts charging @ 1,500 rpm or so your good to go

    What is the difference between a "rolling" and a "beam" torque wrench? This unit is accurate within 4% @ 3-7 inch/lbs. = 0.12-0.28 inch/lbs. FWIW: ISO certification standard is 6% for both beam and click wrenches...

    There is also a scenario where a bilge motor fails (burnt winding) tying the two circuits together. Wouldn't worry too much about the battery equalizing but you'll be surprised to come out in the morning to find the nav light is on (very dim) when the start battery switch is off. Been there...

    I've picked up a rope (crab pot) more than a couple of times on Flo-torq and rubber hubs. At speed, the prop cuts right through the rope. At idle, it stalls the motor right out. Never seen or heard of anyone blowing a prop hub on a rope, especially at idle
