Good point on VL
Did not think about it because of no mention of it happening after a run.
Does this happen after the motors been running for a bit or is it when its cold and not yet warmed up?
Don't know where the Bat is tapped in your boat, have to trace wires to find out. Most come off the starter solenoid post, others off the Bat
The fuse block will have one main wire feeding it, follow this back to where it connects
What's the serial number?
Agree start with fuel pressure. If pressure is low as speed increases the motor won't get enough fuel and start to miss. If motor does miss then ECM will retard timing.
Look on the shift plate for 2 switches, if there are 2 then one is a in-gear switch. If motor...
I don't have the manual for your motor so I'm using Merc
What your calling the pulse limiter is that the fuel pressure regulator which is on top the VSR. If this Reg is not keeping pressure at required spec then to much fuel will be dumped back in VSR. If this was happening the motor should be...
The up circuit has a limit switch, so the drive will not go to high up when motor is running. To bypass the limit switch there is a trailer switch/button so when motor is OFF it will go full up
Welcome
Changed title because you need belts for the motor not the drive
Can verify part numbers but only listing lengths based on info. Lets see what others say to verify length
List ALT belt item 18 as 48120Q1 and is 46 inch

Trim has to get power from the Bat, in most cases there is a wire coming from the starter post to the trim. If it's not there it could come direct from the Bat
Here is what is on the GI and GXI and some others
Fuel pressure should be 8+/-2 psi on low side and 29 +/- 2 psi on high side
Motor gets timed in base timing mode at 8* BTDC
To place in base timing mode find DLC connector and put paper clip or other jumper between pins A and B. If rpms do not increase when jumper is installed, bring rpms up...
Could pick up a cheap 12V pump. Connect another filter to tank and then to pump. Suck out all the fuel.
Dump 10 gals fresh back in. Place exit gas line from new pump to tank fill. Let it run and when it starts slowing down change filter and keep going tell its good and clean
