Could remove the return line coming from the Reg at the fuel filter head. Plug the filter head and hose end, then just key ON a couple times (do not start) to see if pressure builds above 40 psi. It should go close to 60
If it does increase, remove Regulator...

I can push the left or right side and it moves back in a twist, this is why I'm thinking it's some kind of a latch. Might take some kind of body tool like a car

Trying to remove the Lid which covers the helm. No room under it, and can bearly see panels and displayes are bolted from behind
Can move the top a bit and think its held in place by a spring latch. Might be like a dash on a car

Can find many premade tanks, just need to find one that will work close enough

if the prior buyer backed out so this would tell me that the Trans needs rebuilding, and probably needs both done. Use that info to determine your price and if you still want to buy it

The top of the carb comes off to adjust. Upside down for float level and right side up for float drop
Have you looked down the throat of the carb when its stalling to see if its flooding?
If not flooding pump the throttle to see if fuel is squirting
Choke full open?
Got it back today and took it into town to fill up. It took 113 gal and then went home and put it back in the barn
Have not looked at the Bats yet, but was told they would be switched to AGM
Maybe, the converter is 200, a plug n play 2000 is over 300 and most 400
Been looking my self for my new boat, be nice if they had a regular size flush mount with 2000. All the ones that have it built in are larger units
