    It looks like both the ALT feed and motor feed are melted? If that's the case then it shouldn't happen unless the battery cable was installed to bypass the fuse

    Take a 1/8 inch flat plate (or thicker) at least 1/2 inch larger then hole needed for sender. Drill hole size needed for sender. Use cork or other gasket which gas does not have an issue with. Fasten plate to tank then sender to plate

    Either should show close to 30, running or not. If the key turns ON and it goes to 30, but then immediately drops, then Reg is leaking. If memory serves there are no drippings with key ON, motor not running Bummer on the Greece thing other then would be nice to see it some day :)
