    Does the beeper work, as in hear 2 beeps when the key is turned to ON? Need a scanner hooked up and get some readings if the MAP, TPS and fuel pressures stays up. What do the plugs look like after a run? Need to run for a bit then stop quick (don't idle much) then see what they look like

    Include replacing wires or at least new cap, rotor and plugs. Might have missed a wire location as BT said Won't hurt to check 1-3-4-2

    ok, hope the o-rings used are the correct ones as in OEM or at least right size and viton or buna seals and not just ones from a HF kit

    Those O rings can get stuck and leave a thin ring behind. The new O ring may not seal because of it. The keeper pin can also be installed before the first O-ring, and if so it will leak. It needs to be installed in the groove of the line between to 2 O-rings. Your cooler didn't look to good...

    If it isn't broke don't fix it, is my motto Unless something looks real bad, then only way to know if it doesn't work is to test it

    The older tanks are vented and the cap is where it vents. If its not venting then a vacuum will happen and starve fuel to the motor.

    Agree 7 psi is on the upper limit. Depending on what needle valve is installed (spring loaded or fixed) its most likely just a bit to much pressure. Install a fuel pressure regulator and get it down to at least 6, and 5 would work...

    I'm seeing TB distributor but has MEFI-3 ECM, if correct the TBV troubleshooting guide will not work. Agree check for 12V at the coil Did you get the fuel leak fixed?

    That would cause some issues but if it did there would most likely be a leak. Look at the hose under the bell housing and gimbal ring. It can twist sometimes when it gets old and will cut off the flow Check the intake hose to make sure its on top of the raw water pump. Comes in on the top...

    Mine was a Merc OEM impeller, might have been 2 years old. Only thing different I noticed was it was extra hard to get the impeller in the housing. Use Glycerin and as before, it didn't make it to my slip before it over heated. Had another on the shelf, replaced at the dock and this one went...

    Sorry, no 5 amp is not enough. Look at your ignition fuse, its either a 15 or 20 amp, I would use a 20

    Take the purple wire coming off the key switch and put kill switch in it. Kill should break the connection when pulled

    I;m not familiar with your motor, but the my VST didn't have a schrader valve. The Schrader valve was on the fuel rail on my motor. That said, they don't put schrader valves on areas with no pressure, might be the high pressure side
