Don't think it left Chris Craft like that. With a dash brow maybe, however not with anything you must move out of the way

    Finishing before gelcoat

Yes, the duratec 904 mixes with gel to make it sprayable like paint and to lay down to minimize the amount of wetsanding and buffing

    Finishing before gelcoat

I don't use wax, just the 904 To get it shiny, you need to wetsand and buff

    94 Cobia 5.7 Chevy/Yamaha setup

It's a 29 year old boat. Keyhole in transom is now standard. However you need a whole lot more than just a drive, you need all the bits that attache the drive to the boat. You have to remove the Yamaha motor and drive from the boat, and replace with a Mercruiser or Volvo Penta

    94 Cobia 5.7 Chevy/Yamaha setup

I would pass on anything with a Yamaha drive, or lowball so low that you can afford to buy a complete prop to pulley longtail to swap in 1994 350 with a 4 barrel is 260hp

    FLYWHEEL HELP!!!

    21 Pachanga

SeaRay branded motors in 1988 and 1989 were standard Mercruiser engines and drives, just painted white. SeaRay also did the stupid thing of putting a BBC in front of an Alpha and Mercruiser was stupid enough to listen the motors were 4.3's, 5.0's, 5.7's and 7.4's the guy with the pachanga...

    FLYWHEEL HELP!!!

RH and LH blocks are same, cams are the same, however timing is done with gears vs chain. Pistons are assembled different, and crank casting is the same except the knurling on crank is different for RH motors (or you pump oil out) Flywheel is same, however flywheel for inboard is different...

    water in all 4 cylinders

It's almost never the head gasket To test the water jacket. Drain the block and head, take a hose that comes from the transom shield and the hose that feeds the manifold and tie them together. I use my mityvac pump You can borrow a compression tester from your local FLAPS

    Oil pressure gauge

And verify with a mechanical gauge

    water in all 4 cylinders

You need to acetone test the manifold and elbow Pressure test the engine water jacket (should hold 15 psi forever) Do a compression test, and a leak down test
