    Still researching DTV signal, and thought of something. Is there a drone made which can pick up maybe 20 pounds. My thought is if a drone could pick up a large high gain antenna and about 70 feet of RG6 cable. Get it to pick up the antenna and then see how high it has to go to get reception...

    Without getting into every year I'm going to discuss the issues with your year and interchangeability. The issue is in the housings and are identified in pics below I'm sure Fun Times will have more info on this Look for C5 for 91 and newer on upper case and C2 on lower cases

    There is not a gasket, they are inverted to standard flare fitting. From the looks of where the arrow is pointing, I don't think its screwed in all the way, IF (clean threads) this is the original fuel line If this is the case, remove, inspect, clean and reinstall

    You have non-power steering and uses a straight cable from the helm. Pull the pin that the arrow is pointing to, there is a cotter pin on the bottom.     This doesn't look right. Can see the bellows full of lube but don't see any signs of water. Does look like the drive was installed using silicone on the gasket. I'm wondering if the old gasket was torn and reused.

    This makes me think you have TWO battery switches installed, one Perko and one Blue Sea. So when you turn this switch to ON, everything is turned on, correct If this is the case then I'm guessing your feeding your key switch on the Purple wire and not the Red or Red/Purple

    You have same control as mine I would use 1/4 and at least three layers of glass, or 3/8 and at least two layers of glass. Going thicker will work but then you need to make sure there is room to get full throw of the levers

    I would start pulling hoses, check the power steering cooler and back flush the hoses. If all check out, next pull the fitting off the transom assembly to check for Bravoits. This is where the line coming from the drive shrinks due to the line swelling. Will look something like this

    Recon I would put a vacuum gauge on it to see what's going on. Still strange that it only revs higher after a run. Is the carb a Holley?
