Larson Cabrio 220 Shower Pump/Water in Cabin

Just an FYI The boat builder probably didnt have a schematic, much less published to the public. Most of the boats in existence are made in the prototype shop, then documented with a "build book" for production which is a bunch of photos and some sketches and notes

Can a 2020 CRV AWD tow a Crestliner 1650 SE WT

The CRV isnt a good tow vehicle for anything except a really small utility trailer Its a rebodied civic and its a short wheel base vehicle For your 1800# plus woth of boat, I would get a different tow vehicle

Trouble pulling skier out of the hole

No such thing as one prop fits all. The prop you use for watersports is always 2-4 " of pitch less than your cruising prop. Suggest dropping down in pitch. However in the mean time, move everyone to the bow, trim all the way in. Dont trim up until the boat is out of the hole. Dint have...

How do I fix this ladder?

in addition to what was stated above, dont bother filling the holes, you need a backing plate and you will need to thru-bolt. make wedge washers out of starboard or black delrin to take up the angle

Yam F300 vs. Merc Verado 350 vs. 383 MPI

Both I/O and outboards are prop rated after 1983 You really need to look at torque curves and prop curves. Also, you need to understand the force load path. Modifying an I/O hull for outboard use is a significant engineering undertaking

Yam F300 vs. Merc Verado 350 vs. 383 MPI

the amount of work and cost to make your boat structurally sound for an outboard would automatically disqualify the outboard. I would just get a 377 long block and swap over for your existing 350 long block and be back on the water in a weekend and only out $4200

Buy a boat with a bad starter?

the chances that a 32 year old low end boat only needing a starter are slim to none. The motor may or may not be salvageable as indicated the comment above. Additionally, most likely there is some structural issue to the hull as well. we are just trying to indicate that a 32 year old boat is...

Rebuilt Mercruiser 140/3.0 doesn’t have enough power to plane

it it the clear tube coming from the fuel pump? if so, your fuel pump ruptured. that line is to direct fuel from a bad fuel pump to the motor so it runs bad, then you fix it vs having fuel enter the bilge and blow up

    Anybody have this happen?

the lube levels most likely have dropped, leading to a bearing failure, hence the bust-out of the top cover. you do check lube levels often, correct? you do pull the drive every year, or at least the upper gear box to inspect the u-joints, correct? right now, there are a bunch of upper gear...
