    Scotch Guard on Sunbrella

I used both. used the Starbrite stuff for many years before the 303 came out for marine products about 7 or 8 years ago the only thing that killed any of my Sunbrella covers was a 1500 mile trip behind a box truck where the cover was flapping enough against a ficus and some household items...

    What's too old to consider?

if your not looking for a project, buy a new boat with a warranty. fiberglass recreational boats are designed to last 15 years with minimal maintenance. yes, while many boats have a service life that is longer, expect to start to have projects at 15 years as systems start to fail.

Should you polish a Prop or not

run it in sand at low tide, it will polish them up. other than that, polished or not polished, doesnt matter enough from an efficiency standpoint to worry. a nick on the leading edge has more effect than if you polished the whole thing to a mirror finish or sprayed it with primer and threw...

Duoprop F7 is too big by 400+rpms

i tend to think its accurate enough. even with my old AQ series, the B6' props would be 4600 RPM, so jumping to the B7's would have given me about 4200. other than the different hubs, the B6/C6 pitch and diameter is really close the the D6/F6
