no, its a $300 GMPP (GM Performance Parts) cast crank that you bough from Mercruiser for $1342. you can use it, however need to have it inspected. you still need new rods and slugs. dont forget to get your rotating assembly balanced. for my BBC, I went zero balance which added about $400 of...

going back to 2002, mercruiser started making the drain hoses standard. if your garboard plug has a lanyard on it so you dont loose it, the lanyard is attached to the drain hole. just pull it thru the plug what I would do, pull hose thru plug, warm the motor on muffs, have hose in bucket...

I would call them. I would ask if you could email the pics of your dash and then ask to see if they can get you part numbers. they may give you part numbers and point you toward a dealer (such as Iboats) to make the transaction.

    Vortec 906 & 062 valve stem o.d. ?

casting numbers are only part of the equation. they should be 0.341 or 0.343. the LS motors use 0.315 your heads could have been worked on prior. I would talk to your local machine shop. you need to cut the seal seats, and I would seriously upgrade to better seals and screw in rocker studs...

    1995 OMC 5.0L Electrical mishap

If you had your drive off, I would say just fire it for a second or two or simply pull the impeller and fire it for a second or two. pulling the impeller on a cobra is much easier than on an Alpha or stringer
