    model 50373R runs great about 20 min then just quits. till something cools, is not running hot as i can hold hand on block. just found mechanic recpalced coils with LoFitOMC 582160, brp evinrude chart show the should be 580821. could the the coils be wrong and heating up and cutting out...

    back to my exhaust manifolds

    4.3 LX GEN+ talked to guy at Ebasic. i have oringial manifolds. he said i had to replace complete exhaust system all the way to the stearn, including Y pipe.$1593. i don't think so. need opinions. i think i only need to go from heads to y pipe.

    i'm considering ordering a mercruiser manifold/riser kit from them for my 4.3LXGEN+ 96-97 item #58222. i know i will still need elbows. any body used them.

    sear#217-59671 block tag T643-04 5911004. basically have same problem flyduck had. runs great with the choke closed. will try cleaning it. any other ideas. this is to be a Christmas for a kid who has a 10' bass hound.
