Speeding right along there, BN. If you spent less time fishing, the boat would be finished - LOL Good catch!

Ya but I gotta go have fun sometimes to ya know. It was fun anyway, I havn't got to do a whole lot of fishing this year so I'm gonna try to hit it hard the next month or so.

I took advantage of the boat being upside down on the trailer and crawled under it and washed it out some more. Worked pretty well 'cept me getting all wet but I got most of the dirt and gunk out.

Re: 1973 Starcraft Holiday

Does that mean I am now one of the "special" ones?

Well, if you mean to say the straight jacket wearing, loonie farm living kind of "special"? Then yes, you are on that list. Man, it's getting to be a long one too:eek:

That's not a bad thing is it?

Well, I guess since we have basically unlimited space here on the iboats interweb dry dock (and plenty of room for weirdos) I think we'll be aok:)

Plus there's no such thing as to many Starcrafts :D Though I'm having a hard time convincing my fiance of this :(

I got about half of the bottom stripped now. I ran out of paint stripper so the rest will have to wait for another day. There is also alot of corrosion on the bottom under the old paint but where it sat on the bunks it's ok. Sill havn't figured that out. Will post pics of the corrosion as soon as i get them taken :D

Well it looks like my project is going to be pushed off to the side for awhile. We are going to be buying a house soon so we need to save all the money we can. Hope to get back on it within the next couple of months.

Re: 1973 Starcraft Holiday

I will be taking it to my grandmas to put in the shed this weekend. I really don't have room to keep it in the garage and would like to keep it inside. Plus the water pump went out on my truck today so that's another unexpected expense. It always seems to be something.

Re: 1973 Starcraft Holiday

Well I got the Holiday stuffed into the shed at Grandmas today. Hope I can get it pulled back out in the next couple months. We get 8' snowdrifts in the driveway out there so if I wanna work on it this winter I need to get it back out before then.

Hey Drew, in case you are looking at sliding that V6 into where the 140 is sitting. Bondo version...
