I did call a couple nearby scrap yards yesterday and they havn't seen anything like it come through. They said they would keep an eye out though.

******** thieves! I lost my 6hp 'Rude, kayak, and all my lawn equipment last month to them. There's a special corner in hell for these people... Hope you get your Holiday back, and that the HUGE new boat is solid as can be.

Still no luck finding it. I'm pretty bummed out. I should be getting that Silverline on Monday. That should keep me pretty busy for now. Once I get it splashed I will start looking for another Starcraft. Till then i'll keep my hopes up on finding her.

Re: 1973 Starcraft Holiday

Well I officially finished up that skidloader I have been working on so I should be getting the Silverline Monday (granted someting else doesn't break before then). If anybody is interested in seeing pics of my engine conversion on the skidloader let me know and I'll post some up, it was quite the adventure.

I found another one of those Silverlines on ebay. It is the first one I have been able to find besides the one I'm getting and I have been looking for a year and a half. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Moti...0789525400?pt=Other_Boats&hash=item4ab08bb398
This one had the white leg of despair also. I'm thinking possibly that's what they all came with.

Boy - That Silverline looks wide. Large cabin, too. You could live in her. Really sorry about no luck on the SC

I can't believe somebody stole the rig! :(:(

Tough luck for sure, sorry to hear it BN.

I keep both mine in the yard and now I feel vulnerable to theft.

Good luck to ya, you are due for some!

Re: 1973 Starcraft Holiday

I got the Silverline today. I'll get some pics taken tomorrow and a new thread started. It's going to need a very thorough cleaning. Not sure what I'm going to all do to it. Alot depends on the fate of the motor.
