Re: jetski thief shot dead.
Another thought I had after reading the posts here is that this under age male kid who was home with his mother may have also been thinking about what could happen to his mom. A kid can have a strong instinct to protect. I don't think the kid is going to get charged. First he's a minor, second he's a lawyers son, third, I'm sure between the castle doctrine and self defence he'd been cleared anyhow. I feel the kid was right to blow this scum away. Maybe I'm Being overly harsh, but, as a society we are forced to spend way to much money on housing, feeding, court costs, etc...for pos scum who will more than likely ( if they ever get out) commit more crime and, according to reports) will commit a worse crime. Sure, no one wants to take a life (I've done it) but you have to remember, the criminal put himself and everyone else in that situation, the criminal being dead is the criminal's fault. Perhaps if more and more criminals we're shot, we wouldn't have to provide for them in jail, pay rising insurance rates, pay so much for police, live in fear in our own homes, wouldn't feel compeled to get CCP and carry firearms for protection, worry about our children so much, spend money on home security systems, and we wouldn't have to worry about folow-on generations of criminals because, hey, your daddy was a dumbass criminal and got himself killed so you were never born to be raised to a life of crime/drugs. As far as pity goes, I have none for violent criminals, sexual predators, and thieves. one more dead? Good, that's one less I have to worry about. I guess you guys can figure out I'm in the "A rope is much cheaper than a lethal injection and could and should be used untill it breaks" Catagory. Sorry if my opinions **** anyone off, but this is america and I'm entitled to them.
