Re: What the....?
I'm sorry Mellow, I didn't think that I was "adding" to it. I thought the author of the book added plenty to it. By adding to it, I would have had to put to the words in the mouths of those who expressed hate here. I may have "propagated" it by posting something that (once again) people have strong feelings about, but that is what serious discussion is made of. As I stated, I wish "We" as a "diverse community" could share our views on subjects like this without being hateful to eachother or the misguided, soul damning, bible perverting man who wrote the book. I may be outraged by this, but I don't "hate" him.

The human frailty that is exhibited in this forum is just that. To a third party looking in with no opinion on anything, you and I must look very silly for so strongly debating our differing points of view. Does that make us silly for doing so? NO. I have taken away something worth learning from each occasion that we have crossed swords. Don't tell anyone, but I actually appreciate you for your views and the fact that you have the integrity to speak them and defend them vigorously. That is the spirit that this country was founded on, and I like to see it still thriving today, no matter what side of the political fence you are on. At the end of the day we are still Americans and could concievably end up side by side one day defending each other and this great country.

If the subject of this post alerted someone to a new attack on Christianity, or was brought up in a bible study, or was brought to the attention of a preacher; thats good. Just like worms in the Democratic party, Republican party, local police department, etc. need to be exposed and known for what they are, This affront to all who have Christ to thank for thier eternal salvation needs to be known to them, just as Watergate needed to be known to all Americans.
