Snow in Lake Tahoe already. Hopefully lots of snow still coming! Of course its nice to be in So Cal and be warm and just have a nice drive to go visit it every once and a while.

Calgary is supposed to get 20cm of snow and we were at 20?C (68?F) yesterday. :facepalm:

Its Oct 23 just after 7am and yes we have snow but............by the week-end its supposed to be nice and warm again.

We had a bit over an inch a week ago, yesterday. All gone, of course, but it's that time of year. I actually wouldn't mind another Halloween blizzard like we had a few years ago. It'd keep the riff-raff out of the woods come the Nov 3rd deer opener. Plus, I want to get enough snow to make it worth while putting the tracks on the ATV this year. I'm gonna have to scratch my head enough trying to remember how it all goes together!

That blizzard was quite a few years ago, '91. You'll need those ATV tracks just to get to your stand. And don't worry about seeing deer, they'll be laying low. No thanks.....

Ya, but it will be in the 50's shortly..............

We've had rain and thunder tonite. More rain tomorrow a.m turning to a rain/snow mix in the p.m. 30's by 5pm.......... Maybe 40 this weekend for hi's.......

We had snow 2-3 weeks ago! Though,,, it was up on the "mountian" 8000' above us.

We haul our kids up to the snow a couple times each year. Mid 60's at home and an hour later they are playing in the snow, 3-4 hours later they are nicely frozen and complaining it's too cold, so we haul them back down to the 60* temps to thaw out.

Tomorrow night they're saying a low of 18 degrees. We have a couple of water lines here at work I think we'd better drain. I'm off tomorrow, guess winterizing the camper and boat motor is on the schedule.

Mid 70's again today and tomorrow, then dropping temps. Saying Monday and Tuesday things could line up like the perfect storm of '91 and we will either get a lot of wind and a lot of rain, or a lot of wind and little rain, or most likely a lot of wind and a lot of snow! Time will tell.

Yup, looks like it is snowing to the west of here right now, but we'll get nothing but rain. Winter is coming and along with it the 2nd ski season.

We must have seen the same forecast! One channel said 1-3" up there and another was basically talking a trace. Take your pick..lol We're on the edge. Mainly talking rain/snow mix for us. Poured all morning......

Say, where are you at if you don't mind me asking? I grew up around Lake Vermilion............. I love that lake. It's nice and big compared to the lakes down here.. However, it's getting busy. Starting to call it Minnetonka North......... Still not that bad...... yet......
