    Need help with prop.

I mean...if you go back to the 10 and are still getting 5000...then I think something else has come up during the testing of props...if it goes back up to 6200...then I am baffled on what prop you would need to find your happy median.

    Need help with prop.

Have you tried putting the old 10 back on to see if you can still get the 6200?

    2022 NFL - Week 1

Yeah...he sure did! And I had him on my fantasy team's bench because I was scared of how the Eagles were going to utilize their backfield. Hoping they stick with Sanders as the main guy and use Gainwell and Scott as needed.

    Need help with prop.

What type of prop was the original 10? What about the new 11? Did you keep the diameter the same? Going up 1 inch in pitch should not cause a 1200 drop in RPM's...something is not right.

    Need help with prop.

Being off by almost 1200 RPM's doesn't seem like a prop pitch fix, especially if you are already running an 11. What are you using to gauge your RPM's? Dash panels can be faulty or wrong. As a general rule, each inch you DROP your pitch, you gain about 200 RPM's. So going from an 11 to 13...

    2022 NFL - Week 1

There were definitely some weird games yesterday. Cowboys looked horrible and now Dak is out for 6-8 weeks for thumb surgery. One of the few times were picking my NY Giants paid off! One of only 5% that picked them to win. Haha. Go Big Blue! At least Barkley looked like an RB 1 again.

    Merc/Tohatsu 9.9hp 4 stroke - a few questions

The top picture would be a button to in essence put the motor into neutral and allow you to rev the throttle, without engaging the prop. The second picture appears to be a kill switch. How did it run when you got it going? I would start with the fuel. Clean the carb and replace the fuel...

trying to find the fuel amount of a 1989 motorcraft ragin cagin 17ft. bass boat

Can you access/see the tank at all? If so, take the length X the width X the height (in inches) and divide by 231. That will be you gallons. However, that assumes you have a full tank. If it is not full, you will have to remove fuel sender, stick a dowel in there and measure the "wet" part...

    Electrical re-wire

Find the model number on the engine and either do a parts lookup, or post it here and we can help you find the correct starter for the engine.

    Electrical re-wire

If it was a new starter installed by PO, I would make sure the grounds are clean and connected and that you have a good, fully charged battery before you assume you need a new starter. As far as wiring goes...that can be a complete crap shoot. It really depends on how many people have been...

2004 Merc 2 stroke 90HP seized after rebuild

I don't think that removing it was the issue. I had a 2001 merc 200 that I removed and ran 50:1 through for years. The issue is more likely that a jet in the carb was clogged, or the adjustments were off, or they weren't sync'd correctly and the #1 cylinder wasn't getting enough gas/oil to it...

2004 Merc 2 stroke 90HP seized after rebuild

If you are mixing the gas and oil now and the carb feeding the #1 cylinder isn't allowing enough mix through...she's going to get hot quick....not enough oil to keep things going smoothly.

    water pump not pumping

When you try running it this time, poke around the pee hole with a piece of stiff line...may see crud start coming out...then water. Worth a shot before you pull the head.

    water pump not pumping

Robert may be right. Especially if it has been sitting a while, there will almost always be some bug that has build a nest in the tell tale hole. I second his idea of taking some weed whacker line and poke it up into the hole from outside of motor. may be all you need to get the water flowing...

    28ft Tahoe

The cavitation might not be prop related and could be a result of engine mounting height. The old prop you were going faster, bigger wake behind the toons and therefore it cavitated. New prop you are 10 MPH's slower, with smaller wake so no cavitation. can you take a picture of engine mount...

    water pump not pumping

It should not really matter which way you spun the impeller when installing. it should turn and the fins will correct themselves. Was it pumping water before? What was the condition of the old impeller? If it was destroyed, did you flush for rubber pieces that may be clogging something? Did...

    35 Johnson overheating

I would definitely pull the lower unit and check the impeller. Sounds like you may have a impeller that is breaking apart and missing fins--therefore it only pumps enough water when it is really turning at higher RPM's.

    2001 90HP ELPT carbs leaking

It really seems like a stuck float or needle valve in the carbs. Seems like this marina is asking you to just keep pouring money into a problem they aren't sure about. I would thoroughly soak the carbs in cleaner...check the needles to make sure they are not damages...check float...

Sweetwater 2286 FS electrical problem 😪

Could be several things. Start by checking the wires from the switches and make sure your grounds are connected and tight.
