    I would suggest you to call Franz at Franz Marine Service. He is the man that knows all about Chrysler and Force. He will have the right trigger base and if he not have it, he will give you information where to find it.

    I have not worked with many engines with T&T but as you says it can be able to swap them. I think the hard thing is to loose the bolts and nuts holding the T&T to the swivel bracket. If it is a salt water engine it can be a real PIA.

    Yes I assume that, the coils are affected. When the coils are cold the insulation can be good, when they get warm the insulation can be bad and the windings maybe shorted. A crack in the coil is not a normal situation.
