I looked for the video and all I could find was 2 but neither covered the one you want to see. Possible he didn't make one for that??? Sorry He posted about it in this forum, maybe use the search function. One thing he stressed was make sure you count the bearings as you take them out and...

    Low Compression on Cylinder #2

You can remove the piston without splitting the cases, Remove the head, then from the front, remove carbs and reed assy. Just be careful and watch for dropped bearings, some come in a cage some don't. Also the under the pack and electronics are the port covers(3) you can remove the center one...

    Force 1989 125 question

The trigger shows the wires but in a real trigger the wires all come from one spot. CDI sells a trigger with just 4 wires all coded. Trial and error, to get the right ones.

Do a compression and then a spark test(check each cylinder) post the results. You using the fast idle in the shifter? Starting procedures? A tiny bit of starting fluid won't hurt.

Testing the Enricher/ Choke: Pump the ball, should get hard, then someone at the key, you at the enricher. Start the motor, pull the hose from the enricher to the carb. If it's pumping fuel or fuel coming out? Then it might be bad?? Running, pinch off the hose to the carb, should make no...

    Low Compression on Cylinder #2

The motor you have was one of the worst Mercury/Force put out. The single carb feeding 3 pistons was a problem from the beginning. I'd try to sell the parts, you'll get more for the pieces than selling outright. Fixing? around 1200$ just a wait and see when/if it breaks again.

The prop: lock the motor in gear and try to move the prop? It shouldn't be able to move, but the prop turning in water will be the test. Mark the hub and go for a ride, then check the marks and see if the hubs spun. ANY!! prop repair shop should be able to rehub your prop. If not you can do it...

    Chrysler 65hp clutch dog problem

"as far as I can tell there's no adjusting forward gear in relation to the pinion gear" That's measured and set by shims under the bearing cup for the pinion gear. Get the factory service manual, you don't need the exact year, just something close. You WILL need special tools to shim the pinion...

New issue on the 105 water pump. Gearcase issue.

You don't have a thrust hub on that unit. I believe the props located with a pin. The pin keeps the prop spaced out so it won't rub. Look on the prop shaft for a hole and align with the hole on the collar of the prop. The latest parts diagram(74)doesn't show the pin??? Picture #2 shows the prop...

    Chrysler 65hp clutch dog problem

The Chrysler lower units were actually one of the best out at the time. There really isn't too much different than the new stuff out there now. The newer, bigger ones (from 88 to 95) can be rebuilt without shim tools.

    Sport Jet 120

Have you done a compression test? You pull the head and check the gasket?

85hp force will not start. Fuel not getting to cylinders.

The fitting on the bottom of the reed plate is for a hose from the plenum or carb cover .
