    Called a pressed rubber hub, last I was aware. No certain what the application might be. But I’m aware that some VP/OMC single prop shafts are 19 spline like that. Most common like that would be maybe an old Michigan after market prop for a VP maybe.

    Hi. I’m not convinced it’s the shaft or the coupling that’s the issue. Pretty certain that it’s the flexible mounted shaft gland that’s moving there. Likely that it needs packing replaced.

    Ah. Got you. So is it the 2.1 litre engine or the older 1.8 ? If it’s the 2.1 litre…they are the same engine up to 115. But with ecu mapping varied at least. Excellent engines I think. Way more than the power claimed for sure.

    Is the 2015 75hp 4 stroke not an efi ? Won’t be a carb on her. Almost sure the newer 2.1l engine came out that year. Same as the 90/100 and 115, but mapping is different among them.

    Agree. But the AQ 290 and similar are famously guilty of taking water in through a failed or nipped gear oil drain fitting. That will cause a slip. Happened to mine years ago. Started sealing up the fitting after an oil change each year. Never an issue since.

    I need to get me a top speed run in the sea or a river one day…might break the magic 70 once and for all, with the campion. Tell me I haven’t spent all that money on props in the quest..and this is all I had to do, haha. There are 10-15 mph tidal runs not far from me. Might break 80 😂
