    The kit is 12 bucks on ebay. Make sure the fuel pump diaphragm is installed correctly at 2 o'clock with the slit. Clean the carb good and install an in-line filter. Should be good to go

    Make sure fuel pump diaphragm is installed correctly. Its the pink rubber piece inserted in the face of the carb.

    You might find one on ebay. When I restored my Firestone I found some parts on there for it. Check the inside of the gas tank make sure no rust. I had to coat the inside of mine. Great little motors.

    Run a piece of wire through it or blow out with compressed air and read this from the manual

    Did you install the pump bladder correctly at 2 o'clock ( the slit in it )

    If Im thinking right the notched piece is to adjust the angle from the transom and you are missing a piece. The other pic was your shift shaft. You take it apart to remove the foot. Pic #7 that piece your pointing at swings down and the piece your missing goes to that. It then adjust your angle...
