    I think your wires must be shorting somewhere near the gauge, when the ignition is turned on

    No problem. Yeah…I don’t think it’s an injector issue at all. I’d likely be looking more towards the O2 sensor, temperature sensor or thermostat/running temperature (that may cause her to run rich, thinking she cold) tps, oil supply rate, plug gap etc.

    Wonder if the sender and or gauge are miss matched between the European and Us types. One reads from minimum ohms up and the other from higher ohms down.

    Just put it down the dipstick tube. All will be well. I’ve only ever done exactly that. Good argument that you’ll get more oil out this way too.

    Thanks for looking into that. Appreciate it. Yeah, you’d think it would be no problem. But definitely found issue with its cable harness and or connector. Problem has completely gone after removing it all.

    After spending an age trying to track down electrical shorting or earthing issues all around the boat and engine too…I am 99% certain that it was all caused by the dragonfly unit. In particular from the harness loom from transducer/power supply that plugs into the back of the unit.

    You’re spot on jimmbo. As far as I can remember, the seadoo di 951 I was cursed with owning years ago, had a system that put some oil to the throttle bodies…and or injectors…as well as obviously directly supplying oil to other distribution lines to specific areas around the engine.
