    Hi. You definitely do have a reverse locking mechanism. Well known to fail, when they can wear away slightly. See picture. Each side with next to springs there is a catch that engages on the stainless bar

    I’d think so. Out with the odd and few serious 4 blade props out there…you don’t get much trim available before you’ll lose grip, with any ally 4 blades I’ve been about. Not too efficient at the top end either. A good 3 blade like a tempest etc should do much better

    Hi. I’m of the thinking there isn’t really such a thing as a stock or factory prop for a boat. Should be propped to the user’s needs and requirements. Sometimes even location.

    Low gear oil is the usual one if it happens from cold. What engine is this again ? Mpi/efi or carb ? The latter only having a small number of things that would sound an alarm. likely not too clever an idea to ignore an alarm without investigation or worry. They aren’t there for nothing. As...

    VesselView problem - shows only RPM

    Hi. With regards to the faults shown. These are things to be ignored and blocked. You don’t have those sensors fitted. As for the data freezing..it must be to do with your installation or your device trying to or being connected to something else, like the stereo.

    Sounds a bit down on rpm and performance to be honest. Not by much, but I’d think that boat should be capable of an easy 45 gps and running to the 4800 rpm with a 19”. The 4 blade won’t be helping much though. Were you trimmed up at those numbers ?

    Engine dumping fuel

    Hi. This has got to be a fuel pump or sensor issue. Even if the injector or fuel delivery system was open ended…it shouldn’t stay running. You’d think anyway.
