    Find videos online of the same engine running. My guess is that if it is cold, it is not normal. Maybe there is a drain **** opened that should be closed?

    Is it coming out warm or cold? If it's warm, it's likely where the water goes after cooling the engine and would likely be normal, as long as it's not draining down from someplace water should not be (inside the cowling). I'd think the owners' manual would have that info.

    Owners' manual will tell you Volvo-Penta full synthetic SAE30. NLA. A slightly heavier oil will cost a little horsepower at the expense of less wear. Theoretically, a 10W30 will perform the same as SAE30 once it's at operating temps.
