Re: iboats West get together!!!
I survived, but no boating yesterday; still had to work on the rental/vacation house in Lake Havasu City. But I got a change to meet and get to know QC-in person- and his sons, his neighbor and his sons, also John Ruff and his wife at the Nautilus Inn Dockside.

Luckily QC got his wallet handy, his grown up kids seems to have appetites for goodies-one after another seems like, but I like them, nice good mannered kids!

John has a well preserved 18 or 19ft pleasure boat, circa 80's I think and he seemed to be enjoying his new Electronic gadget hooked up to his laptop! I admire his tenacious upkeep and effort to remodeled the boat, it was so bad, the previous owner gave it to him for free...said John.

As for QC's boat, well you've seen his boat posted somewhere I think, it's in immaculate condition; he'd quickly wipe off any water or dirt on the seat; like a good proud owner should be. I am pretty sure QC and John Ruff would elaborate their boating week end for you guys when they come back home...

Yesterday was a perfect day for boating; the sun was up, temp in the 80's; lake Havasu seems ready for the Summer boating crowds.

Here's a couple of photos of how pretty it was yesterday at the lake (John said that they witnessed a great sunset at the lake-which usually are-; so he may post you with some pics later...).

Beach area in front of the Nautilus Inn:

QC, John Ruff and me, QC's shiny boat in the foreground, John's well preserved one was next to it:

Sorry ROSCOE for posting the photos...that's one of the reasons lots of Snowbirds came to Lake Havasu too; in fact, my tenant just left last Thursday, heading back to St. Cloud, Minnesota...
