    if i understand the 12.4 v you said from black meaning ground at starter and negative battery post that would indicate a loose connection in that circuit

    Faztbullit i am running a 83 140 that was rebuilt about 6 years ago by a local mechanic with new wiseco pistons and rings use tc3 oil non e fuel . what does a leak down test tell one ? thank you for your help

    my forward / reverse controller is mounted with 2 long phillips head screws with nuts on the inside of wall very hard to reach behind there to hold nuts to start screws anyone know how to fix this problem thanks for any help

    seems to me most v-4 johnsons has ring failure on # 4 cylinder anyone have ideas why? is there a way to help prevent it thanks for your responces

    maybe take rubber hose off bottom of starboard head see what kind of flow you have be good to have infared heat gun to check temps

    throttle butterflies closing properly ? disconnect primer fuel line

    you could bolt the 2 halves [with no crank shaft] and check the area with a feeler gage good luck
