    Nope.-------The tank needs to build up PRESSURE in order for fuel to flow to the motor.-----Any pictures of tank and hoses coming off the motor.-----Is there a hose coming off the intake manifold that supplies crankcase PRESSURE to the tank ?

    Open the low speed mixture screws 1/8th turn at a time and test acceleration.-----Open another 1/8th turn as needed.----Likely the bogging / stumbling will disappear.

    Why would a mechanic put on a prop with that much pitch if you were only getting 3800 RPM ??-----There is something wrong with the motor.----Compression test and spark test.-----Could be running on 4 or 5 cylinders !

    That would be a 1968 ----So one hose fuel in to the pump and one hose out.----There is a wee oil recirculation line that goes from the bottom of the block to up near the top bearing.---That needs to be in place.----Often see those broken or cracked if original.

    You will need to post the model # here.----Or detail pictures.----To me with information posted it sounds like you have one with a conversion from pressure tank to fuel pump.----Newer motors just have fuel in to the pump and fuel out.----Pump is mounted directly over the PRESSURE port.

    Look a little closer.----The points are right there !!---Right beside the condensers,-------If you need some pointers on the points visit ----aomci.-----Lots of folks there.----I think I have about 10 sets of those points on hand here.
