I had an American Bull Mastiff that used to sit on the carpet......fart, turn around, smell the carpet, then move away..... you could almost see the stench coming as a black-green cloud.
I would start with a google search and go from there.

First, welcome aboard
second, the boats were made by Mirro over 50 years ago, then the name was sold to Northport in TN in about 1970 when Mirro got out of the boat business in Manitowoc in about 1970, and completely went out of business decades ago. (born and raised there).

first, all the information that is important is in the title and registration. I assume you have that. if not, you own a yard planter
now, assuming you have a title and registration in hand. what does the title say the boat is.
beyond that, what other information do you need. other than 4...
spraying gel is easy. no need for a dump gun. you do need a HVLP gun with a 2.0 or 2.3 nozzle. get the vapor brand, the correct one will be green. Amazon or northern tool (about half of buying the exact same gun from your local fiberglass supply house)...
depends on how creative you are. there have been two electric conversions so far. the problem is you only get about 25 miles of use.
if you have a 165, you most likely have the in-line 6. you can swap over to a 4.3 V6 and save some weight.
the base motor doesnt know its in a boat. especially the heat exchanged motors. the only difference between a heat exchanged boat motor and the motor in a volvo car, one has a radiator, one has a heat exchanger.
the pistons, rods, bearings, and most gaskets are the same.
regarding...
the only issues I have are as follows:
if the hull and foam are full of water, you wont know it until spring.
32 years is past a boats "prime" and "sell by" date. most boats are designed to last 15 years.
any fiberglass boat that old should be considered a project.
it may be a diamond in...

second, what are you worried about? most boats dont have hour meters. they generally do not get worn out in a recreational boat. they do get murdered.
a 19' boat with a 4.3 would normally go 4000 hours with proper maintenance. the average boater puts on 20 hours a...
before you go any further with your demolition, you will need to pull the drive and motor out of the hull and stabilize the hull with a cradle of sorts.
you can build a cradle right on the trailer if you want.
fuel.... you may want fuel as well.
in all seriousness, with a new to you 22 year old motor. you may want to also change the impeller, pressure test the leg and replace the gear oil.
first, drain oil and pressure check the gear case.
it could be the 4 screws holding in the bearing carrier
could be the o-rings on the bearing carrier
it could be a seal
it could be a crack
gel coat cracks are common. especially on many newer styled boats with lots of compartments. if the boat is about 15 years of age it will really start showing cracks.
in the hull restoration forum stickies is a guide on repairing gel cracks.
